Kids' Summer Film Camp (ages 9 - 14)
During this 5-day filmmaking summer camp 'sequel', aspiring young storytellers aged 9-14 will take a deeper plunge into how films are made. Building off last summer's introduction into the movie-making process, this year will focus more on special effects and working within a pre-existing storyline that comes with sets and props. Campers will work in groups as they focus on the unique aspects of a non-linear shooting schedule and many of the different ways in which effects are created to tell a story in the movie medium. Best of all, campers will have a short film to screen by the end of week.
